
Ivyanne London
Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, Ivyanne started dancing at the age of three where she began her training at Deirdre Jefferson Robertson School of Dance. Having a passion for dance and upon completing 10+ years of training, she took her talents to the New Orleans Hornets basketball organization where she was a member of the “Stingerz” junior hip-hop dance team at the age of 11. She also became a McMain Dancin’ Diva in 2006, in which she served as a two-year captain from 2009-2011.
After her time at McMain, Ivyanne took her talents to Xavier University of LA where she became a member of the Gold Star Dance Team for 4 years and captain in 2014. Ivyanne also graduated from Xavier with a B.S. in Accounting in the Spring of 2015. Throughout her dancing career, Ivyanne has performed in front of large audiences and her dance resume spans from dancing background for professional artists to dancing as a part of various groups for local events in the New Orleans area.
Ivyanne furthers her training in dance by taking classes in different genres including hip-hop, heels, jazz, and contemporary. While in college and graduate school Ivyanne coached the New Orleans All-Star Band’s dance team the “Fleur De Lis’ and McMain’s High School Dance Team the “Dancin’ Divas” for numerous seasons.
Currently, Ivyanne is working in her specified field of accounting and serving as a coach to the Carmouche Performing Arts Academy “Jazzy Jewels”. She is career driven and passionate about her goals, which include being an active mentor for younger girls in the community. She is excited to be afforded this opportunity to work with CPAA to provide numerous outlets for students to train in their respective fields and help young ladies reach their full potential as dancers.
